About Dr Malik
Having a surgical background, I noticed that this much needed service was often not being undertaken in a safe or sterile manner. Also having personally circumcised our 3 boys at home and subsequently many of my colleagues and friends boys I could fully empathise with their anxieties over this very important phase in their child's life. For me the aims of a circumcision service are:
- Safe painless surgery using a local anaesthetic.
- No postoperative complications.
- Early identification and safe management of bleeding.
- Excellent cosmetic and functional outcome.
